Advancing education is investing in our economy

December 7, 2022

By 2030, 62% of all Texas jobs will require some kind of postsecondary credential. But only 48% of adults in Texas have a postsecondary credential, and currently only 23% of Texas students earn a postsecondary degree within 6 years of graduation.

A statewide voter survey, commissioned by Philanthropy Advocates and conducted by Baselice & Associates, Inc., shows strong, bipartisan support for investments in Texas students and the State's future workforce.

94% of Texans agree that an educated workforce is the key to the future economic success of Texas. Advancing education supports a highly-skilled workforce and ensures the continued success of our Texas economy.
