George H.W. Bush School for Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University: Employer Strategies for Supporting Out of School Time Programming in Texas: Incentives for Action, Opportunities for Collaboration

November 17, 2014

This study report is the result of a four month exploratory study commissioned by TEGAC, to assess the extent to which Texas business leaders are aware of, and in tune with, the “out of school time” (OST) challenges faced by working parents negotiating the concurrent demands of a traditional work day while managing their school-aged children’s educational activities in the hours beyond the traditional school day.

Philanthropy Advocates was formerly known as the Texas Education Grantmakers Advocacy Consortium (TEGAC) until August 2020. Previously-created resources, documents and blog posts mentioning TEGAC are still provided on this website for your reference.
