Trauma-Informed Care Session

Participants will learn what trauma is and who is affected, how we respond to stress, the impact of trauma exposure on our campuses, and what it means to be a trauma-sensitive school/program. Additionally, information will be presented on Adverse Childhood Experiences, Suicide signs and symptoms, and suggestions on building resources to help schools/programs move forward in becoming trauma-informed. Participants will better understand why the trauma-sensitive approach is necessary for school and staff to increase student engagement.

*The registration for all these trainings is being hosted on the Region 20 Learning Portal, so that those who attend can receive certificates/CEU credits upon completion. Those who want to attend just need to create an account on the portal when prompted during the registration.
