The spring of 2020 brought about dramatic changes to the delivery of content in our pre-K-12 and higher education systems. The abrupt and critical shutdown of campuses across Texas caused administrators, school leaders, teachers, and students to make a rapid shift to remote learning.

Since then, districts have worked to ensure a safe return to school, but a wide range of challenges continue to emerge as they support learners in accelerating learning and addressing deep inequities that were brought to center stage throughout the pandemic.

To support school administrators, teachers, and other education stakeholders, the Texas Learning Exchange (TxLx) was created to facilitate the sharing of resources, solutions and best practice models with districts to support the path forward and student success.

TxLx brought together a steering committee of Texas leaders to inform the content and sources stories and best practices. This project culminated in the Winter of 2021 with a series of professional learning sessions and coaching partnership grants for three Texas districts. We hope the content and resources on this page will still be broadly used and continue to be helpful to districts both in and out of Texas.
